Cube was a video mapping installation with a peculiar spatial set-up; it used three sides of a 2.4x2.4x2.4m cube as projection screen. These were seen as a 270° window onto a series of phantasy worlds during a “promenade architectural”. The different worlds all took a playful loop with gravity, directionality, scale, and even the most basic rules of cartesian coherence. The main theme however always stayed the same; cubes.
The installation was made using 3ds Max and Premiere Pro for content creation. The projection mapping was done via VPT. An abstract soundscore accompagnied the work, which was computationally generated based on the moving images.
