Entrée was a projection mapping installation built during the Jokerweek 2016 workshop, as a way to celebrate the coming 200th anniversary of the university. The context was the underground parking lot of the rectorate. This space, although hardly the grandest of entries, is for most university staff the main point of arrival on their daily commute.

The studio decided to make a digital “walk” through all of the surrounding university portals; an enfilade of decorum offered by the various departments. The architecture was warped to fit the unfamiliar perspective offered by the parking space, and rendered in a collage-like 2,5D style. Small animations were added in for humoristic effect.

The installation was made using 3ds Max and Premiere Pro for content creation. The projection mapping was done via VPT.
